World Environment Day…

Climate Change is the theme for this years World Environment Day which takes place tomorrow, June 5th.  To help raise awareness the Environment Agency have set up a website questionnaire which is challenging people to ask themselves what they are doing personally to tackle climate change and what one extra thing could we do to make a difference.

Across the country, there will be events taking place to mark the occassion so check local press for any details. Here in London, it’s Sustainability Weeks with all sorts going on tomorrow and right up until June 17th. Events range from organic food fairs, community clean up days and business seminars to one of my favourites though I’m far too shy to attend, the Naked Cycle Ride across town, an annual outing which also takes place in Brighton, Manchester, Southampton and York. For a full listing of London dates check out the Love London website which also includes a list of eco tips for tackling climate change.
