Every time you use a standard kettle, it is almost certain that you will boil a lot more water than needed and there may be occasions when you may not even need for the water to be at boiling temperature.

Getting the right amount of water and the correct temperature is neither easy nor convenient. The ECO Kettle 3 is however specially designed to help you avoid this unnecessary waste by getting the amount of water, and the temperature, just right.

With its unique, patented dual-chamber design, the ECO Kettle 3 can be filled with up to 1.5 litres of water ready for use – and then you can decide how much to heat, from one cup (200ml) to full capacity, simply by pressing the knob. The water you don’t use remains in the reservoir chamber ready for next time.

Next you just select one of the three temperature settings: 80 degC (ideal for speciality teas), 90 degC (perfect for coffee making) or 100 degC boiling. Press the button and your ECO Kettle will switch off and signal when the right temperature is reached.

In independent consumer trials, the standard ECO Kettle used an average of 31% less energy than any other kettle, and is the only kettle to be awarded the “Recommended” mark by the UK’s Energy Saving Trust.
