In a typical home, as the radiator heats up, it warms the wall behind and this heat then transferred to the outside of the wall where it is lost.
Heatsaver radiator panels significantly reduce this effect from occurring. With Heatsaver the hot air naturally rising behind a radiator is caused to spin by the profile of the panel causing a series of vortices, rising at higher speed and continuing to spin out into the room. The wall behind the panel then stays cool.
The Heatsaver radiator panels have Ofgem accreditation for EEC schemes. Fitting the radiator panels throughout the home will cut heating bills by up to 20% and would save the average three bedroom semi-detached house £60 a year. The panels will therefore pay for themselves in less than a year.
There is no need to remove the radiators to fit the panels, all that is required is a dust behind the radiator to ensure the wall is clean. The panels come with comprehensive fitting instructions and a roll of double-sided tape.
Each panel is 688mm high x 444mm wide. Generally a standard sized radiator will require two panels.
