KeepCup is the first barista standard reusable coffee cup which fits directly under the espresso machine. It’s made from thermal, recyclable polypropylene which is food safe grade and free from Bisphenol A.

KeepCup is available in 355ml sized cups (medium standard) in 5 different colour combinations. There’s a colourful silicone band around the middle for grip and a leak-proof lid which doesn’t drip when you drink. The lid features a simple pop on and off design and the tongue on plug seals the beverage so the KeepCup is splashproof to transport.

Disposable coffee paper cups which we are all familiar with are made using kraft bleached paper sprayed with a polyethylene coating. The plastic coating means that generally they are not recyclable.

When sent to landfill, these disposable paper cups take years to breakdown and when the paper component breaks down under anaerobic conditions (in the absence of oxygen) it releases Methane, a greenhouse gas which is over 20 times more effective at trapping heat in the atmosphere than CO2.

One way we can prevent this unnecessary waste going to landfill is through re-use.
