Ever thought what happens to all those unpicked wedding dresses which sadly never made it up the aisle and sit forlornly on the racks? 
Well.....young British designer, Zoe Murphy, has come up with a stunning recycling solution in the form of the Margate silk cushion collection.

Hand printed, each recycled silk cushion cover is made with reclaimed wedding dress fabric mostly from unpicked wedding dresses and mixes bright imagery and patterns to give a fresh and uplifting look to any interior setting.

The Margate on Sea Cushion Cover has been made with reclaimed wedding dress fabric and rejuvenates material which would otherwise have been overlooked or discarded.

Designer Zoe Murphy graduated from Loughborough University in 2008 with a first class degree in Printed Textiles.

Based in Margate which is the inspiration for her cushion range, Zoe’s prints encourage the ecological alternatives to ‘throw away’ design in a promising and optimistic way.
