The hot water bottle covers are made from a hard-wearing yet soft felt fabric created using Organic Merino wool.  The felt is created using traditional methods, mainly hot water, soap and agitation and makes a perfect cover for the hot water bottles due to its natural insulation properties.

The softness combined with the warmth of the material gives a luxurious end product.

Turning the heating off in bedrooms and snuggling up with a hot water bottle will help reduce heating and energy bills.

These Hot Water Bottle Covers are also made from Organic Merino wool which is imported from the Falkland islands.
Although the wool has transport emissions associated with it, the designer felt this was the most ethical option as the sheep are farmed without the use of herbicides, pesticides, dips or footbaths. Because of the environment in which the sheep are raised, the fleece is naturally clean so there is no need to use bleaches in the processing.

The Hot Water Bottle covers are made by Stacey who designs and creates unique, luxurious items in felt using traditional methods from her workshop in Cornwall.

Using sustainable 100% wool she creates a range of high quality pieces that evoke a sense of warmth and humour.
