The shot glasses originally started off life as juice and Schweppes Tonic bottles. After a quick rescue mission, they’ve been washed, heated and reformed using old glass-making techniques into these Mexican inspired shot glasses.

Functional and fun, they make a wonderful eco gift.

Recycled glass products reduce the need for the raw materials that go into making new glass such as limestone, soda ash and sand. Each tonne of glass recycled in the furnace replaces 1.2 tonnes of raw materials to make new glass.

Products like these Shot Glasses made from recycled glass also help to increase the demand for recycled glass. The more glass that’s recycled, the less ends up in landfill.

These recycled Shot Glasses are handmade by Lars and Anders Persson. They specialise in recycled glassware and run the family business from a glass studio based in Devon.

All the bottles used by the company are collected locally helping to keep the environmental impact of these products as low as possible.
