Using the most advanced Thin Film solar cell technology, the Solar Mate Point 5's solar panel powers it's three internal AA rechargeable batteries, located in the light unit, during the day ready for operation once the sun goes down.

It can be activated either by its ON/OFF switch located on the light unit or by the supplied remote control and will provide light for up to 3 hours per day.

The Solar Mate Point 5 has a light unit which attaches to the Solar Panel via a supplied 6 foot cable.  As with any other solar product, the solar panel should be mounted in a position best suited to catching the most sun possible.
